Periodt Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Periodt ("Periodt", "the app", "we", "us") is a period and cycle tracker published by LAFUHQE. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. It is written to be read, not to hide things.
The short version: Periodt is built to be private by design. Everything you log — your cycles, symptoms, moods, notes, and every other entry — is stored only on your device. We do not have an account system, we cannot see your health data, we do not transmit it to our servers, and we never sell it. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising in Periodt. The one thing you can choose to send us is an email address (optional, for receipts and occasional updates — see Section 3); your health data is never attached to it.
1. Information stored on your device
When you use Periodt, the information you enter is saved in a private database on your phone. This can include:
- Period start/end dates, flow, and cycle history
- Symptoms, moods, energy, discharge, cramps, and other health notes
- Sexual activity, fertility, basal body temperature, and TTC (trying-to-conceive) entries, if you choose to log them
- Birth control reminders and product-change ("change timer") settings
- The mode you select (e.g. period, trying to conceive, avoiding pregnancy, HRT, menopause, postpartum, a condition, or just logging) and which features you show or hide
This information stays on your device. It is not sent to LAFUHQE, and we have no ability to access, read, or recover it. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it (unless you have exported a backup yourself — see Section 7).
2. Information we do not collect
Periodt does not:
- Require an account, email address, phone number, or login
- Contain analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs
- Build a profile of you or share data with data brokers
- Sell or rent your personal information to anyone — ever
- Use your health data for advertising or share it with third parties for their own purposes
3. Your email address (optional)
During onboarding (and in your profile) you can choose to enter a first name and email address. The field says what it's for: receipts and occasional updates from us. If you enter an email, it is sent to our mailing system and stored there so we can send you those updates; if you leave it blank, nothing is collected and the app works exactly the same.
- Entering an email is entirely optional and never required to use Periodt
- No health, cycle, or tracking data is ever attached to your email — the two live in separate places and are never joined
- Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link; you can also ask us to delete your address entirely (Section 10)
- We never sell or share your email with third parties for their purposes
4. Purchases (Periodt+)
Periodt offers an optional supporter subscription, Periodt+, which unlocks extra features. Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your payment details.
To know whether you have an active Periodt+ subscription, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app-user identifier and your store purchase receipt so it can confirm your subscription status. No health, cycle, or tracking data is ever sent to RevenueCat or to us.
- Apple — Privacy Policy
- Google Play — Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat — Privacy Policy
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You manage, change, or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings — not inside Periodt.
5. Device features Periodt uses
- Notifications are scheduled and delivered locally on your device (for reminders such as birth control, predicted periods, or change timers). They are not sent through our servers.
- App lock (Face ID / Touch ID / device passcode) is optional and handled entirely by your device's operating system. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never seen by Periodt.
6. Community features
Any optional community or chat features are not enabled in this version of Periodt. If we introduce opt-in community features in a future version, this policy will be updated first to describe exactly what would be shared and how.
7. Exporting, importing, and deleting your data
- Export your full history to a file that you save and control.
- Import data, including from other tracking apps.
- Delete everything at any time from within the app. Deletion is permanent and immediate on your device.
Because your data lives only on your device, exported files are your responsibility once you save or share them.
8. Children's privacy
Periodt is a general-audience health app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; the only personal information the app can send us at all is an optional email address, and we delete any we learn belongs to a child.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised policy at the same link. Material changes will be reflected before they take effect.
